The agreement for using Kindling

1. Provider and eligibility

Kindling is provided by Aftaab Siddiqui and published under Gentleloop Labs. Contact hello@gentlelooplabs.com. You must be at least 13, or have permission from a parent or guardian where required.

2. App license

Kindling is licensed, not sold. Your personal, limited, non-exclusive license is subject to these terms, Apple's usage rules, and Apple's Standard EULA.

3. What Kindling provides

Kindling helps you select travel media, arrange it into editable memory trails, add private context, search and revisit those trails, and create sharing artifacts. It is not a travel booking, navigation, public social, archival-backup, medical, or emergency service.

Automatic grouping and place suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. You remain in control of edits, privacy selections, and what you share.

4. Kindling Pro

The first two saved trips are free. Pro unlocks unlimited trails, premium sharing themes, branding controls, and expanded resurfacing controls. Kindling may offer monthly and annual subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. The App Store displays the current price, billing period, and any introductory offer before you buy.

Lifetime is a non-expiring entitlement to Pro features included in this Kindling app during its supported life. It does not promise that the app, every feature, third-party service, or compatibility with future systems will exist forever, and it does not include separately sold successor products.

5. Billing, renewal, cancellation, restoration, and refunds

Apple processes all purchases. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through your Apple Account. Cancellation stops future renewal; access normally continues through the paid period. Restore purchases asks Apple for entitlements associated with the same Apple Account.

Apple controls App Store refunds. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support.

6. Your content

You keep your rights in selected media, notes, recordings, tags, and other content. You are responsible for having permission to use and share it. Kindling does not claim ownership of your memories or use them to train AI models.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Kindling to break the law, violate rights, distribute malware, bypass purchase or security controls, disrupt the app or website, or copy and resell the service except where law expressly permits.

8. Health, safety, and availability

Kindling is a general memory and journaling product, not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, crisis support, navigation, or emergency storage. Do not rely on it as the only copy of important media or information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kindling is provided as available. We do not promise error-free grouping, uninterrupted availability, notification delivery, permanent compatibility, or recovery of content removed from the device.

9. Liability and mandatory rights

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses. Total aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount paid for Kindling in the previous 12 months or INR 5,000. These limits do not apply where law prohibits them, and nothing removes mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes, law, and contact

Material revisions will be posted with a new effective date. Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, Indian law applies and courts in New Delhi have jurisdiction. Contact hello@gentlelooplabs.com for support or legal notices.
